The Afghan Hound is a dog that is recognized by its thick, fine, plush coat and its tail with a ring twist toward the end. The variety is specifically reared for its novel highlights in the cool piles of Afghanistan. Its neighborhood name is Tāžī Spay or Sag-e Tāzī.
