The American Bobtail is generous, short-followed feline. Its body is decently long, with significant boning, and stocky. The position is perceptibly rectangular. The middle is full and wide. The hips are significant, nearly as wide as chest, and rear legs longer than front legs with enormous round feet which may have toe tufts.
