Early Life and Family: Pawan Kalyan was born into a family with a strong legacy in the Telugu film industry. He is the younger brother of renowned actor Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu. Film Career: Pawan Kalyan made his acting debut in 1996 with the film “Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi,” directed by E.V.V. Satyanarayana. However, it was his breakthrough film “Tholi Prema” in 1998 that catapulted him to stardom. His portrayal of a carefree young man in love earned him critical acclaim and a Nandi Special Jury Award.
Following the success of “Tholi Prema,” Pawan Kalyan starred in several commercially successful films such as “Thammudu,” “Badri,” and “Kushi,” which further cemented his position as one of the leading actors in Telugu cinema. He is known for his unique style, powerful dialogue delivery, and charismatic screen presence.
Apart from acting, Pawan Kalyan is also a screenwriter, director, and producer. He has directed and produced several films under his production banner, Pawan Kalyan Creative Works.
Political Career: In 2008, Pawan Kalyan entered politics with the formation of his political party, Praja Rajyam Party (PRP). He actively campaigned for the party during the 2009 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections. However, after the PRP’s merger with the Indian National Congress in 2011, Pawan Kalyan distanced himself from active politics for a few years.
In 2014, Pawan Kalyan founded the Jana Sena Party (JSP) with the motto of social justice, equality, and empowerment of the common people. He contested in the 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections and the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. Although his party did not win a significant number of seats, Pawan Kalyan remains a prominent figure in Andhra Pradesh politics.

Personal Life: Pawan Kalyan has been married three times. His first marriage was to Nandini, which ended in divorce. He then married Renu Desai, his co-star from the film “Badri.” The couple has two children, a son named Akira Nandan and a daughter named Aadhya. After divorcing Renu Desai, Pawan Kalyan married Anna Lezhneva, a Russian national, in 2013. They have a daughter together named Polena Anjana Pawanovna.
Pawan Kalyan continues to be a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry and Andhra Pradesh politics, wielding considerable influence both on and off the screen.
